  Dogs in Vehicles

  Require dog owners to install dividers between them and their pets in their vehicles or to keep their pets in authorized pet carriers when in a moving vehicle. They are a danger to everyone else on the road and to themselves and their beloved pet when they allow Fido to run free in a moving vehicle.   Canadian Toll Booths

  I suggest toll booths at the Canadian border. We already have the booths in place for crossing into our country. I recommend $5 toll per vehicle for entering our country. With the thousands entering our state from Canada every single day, it would generate a lot of needed revenue for road maintenance, pollution, and traffic control among many other things.

  Parking Fees for Bicycles

  Institute parking fees for bicycles in the cities and towns the same as is done for cars. After all, half the time they are already chained up to the parking meters anyhow!

  Implant Illegal Aliens

  Implant Illegals! give them a choice between an electronic chip implant for tracking purposes or 20 years extremely hard labor. Anyone found deliberately harboring an illegal should receive an automatic 10 years hard labor. If the illegals are caught here illegally again, instant 30 years hard labor!

  Canadians At Par

  Ban 'at par' for the Canadian dollar. If they are willing to sit in line at the border to spend their money here, we need to quit not collecting the needed revenue by not charging them as much as the local communities are being charged for the same services.

  Two obvious concepts...

  Require bicyclists to be licensed and registered to be on the roads complete with a license plate clearly visible. And legalize marijuana already and tax it heavily. That alone would solve the budget shortfall and put it into a surplus.
