Very simple.. Restart the draft program to military.. every kid registers at age of 18.. WHY NOT-- They become real people after tour of duty.. Plus todays military is the hot item for employment.. Only losers would not do this.. like we have now, maybe we could change that.

State now has 3 billion in the hole come next June double that or more , all 7 voter intiatives being send to us voters will pass.. Those were your Democrat fixes ( you signed and agreed to this budget ). You and your Democrat created this problem so you as current leader is to get us out of this problem. Stop Spending ! Cut salaries , Cut Staff, Dump your unions NOW! Stop Hiring NOW !!..

Eleminate State Parks Regional Directors and there staff. Eleminate there Budget Director, Assistant Directors == they have NO power or authority. Over the last 4 years they were changed from managers at 80K year to Directors with swipe of a pen.. and gained $40K per year increase salary , they have less parks to manage, more staff in there offices as assistants another 80K per year all with new titles and raises. Under the Parks budget Director that dept has a football team in numbers of staff, yet each region has its own budget staff. Merging with DNR is not the answer.You should merge Fish and Wildlife and State Parks only its a good match.. Both work together all the time at parks and enforcement, even share some other benfits.. Parks R&D section is money bath.. audit there salarys and work time and projects they have.. Its 100% upside down and no light at end of tunnel. Combined parks and fish and you have approx 2000 people in one company.. NO BIG DEAL in private sector so dump = or FIRE= Ftom one of those NR agencies =1 HR section 8 people, 1-Budget section 15 -20 people , 1-IT section 15-20 geeks, 1 R&D section 80 people , 3 or 4 Region headquarters all staff 80 people fish or parks, 1 Director, 10 assistant directors etc etc .. YOU make that one change and your budget worries are solved for the up comming August 9th decission. Thats $700 million savings plus paying there retirement for life !!

STOP SPENDING NOW== if the state government is so great== Do NOT hire vacant position doesnt matter what those are.. Your great people will find a way to cover that lag time .. If they are not on sick leave, or vacation or flex days, or family leave, or sharred leave, or holidays, or IN MEETINGS. That will save 500 million per year.

Cities and Counties have far superior staff more productive and more cost effective, more transparent.
Plus they dont get sucked into your unions votes to get re-elected.
Collectively They will decide whom manages the state and national guard by electing ONE POC as a coordinator.. Not 10,000 like you have. Lets form a Blue Ribbon Panel to decide.. ha ha

State parks housing of employees is a shame amount they pay.. $125.00 month is there payment, those people live in 1/2 million to million dollar homes, free maintenance free air conditioners, triple pane windows, carpets, roofs, plus they get overtime pay, up to 6 weeks year vacations , your hoildays plus all the benifits and some are making base salary $85,000 year. Its a resort living come true. They are caretakers some pack guns ( they should not with limited LE authority ? You have some clerks, park aids, camp hosts, maintenance people, all rangers getting freebee housing.. Charge them the going rate for the area they are caretaking. Just an Example look at Deception Pass Head Ranger lives on private lake 5 million dollar house $125 month. Sun Lakes state park milion dollar homes great views, Ocean Shores, Orcas Island, Rockport S.P , Beacon Rock, on and on There is about 260 rangers and 100 state parks they have 2 to 5 employee houses each park including all the day use parks, you do the math= while at that chore, ask why state park rangers have better cop cars, newer equipment sirens light bars, computers video camera's in cars and trucks and replace there guns each year, spend 4 trips a year and waste time and travel to practice shooting when WSP and WF&W can do twice a year. Dump the park cops. Bring back real Rangers as we once knew & respected as great freindly people.

Keep taxing us public and spending fast as you can, you must give the union employees raises at least 10% and your managers 15%.. you know state employees are so poor from years beatings in benifits, Fly away to DC again or Europe with family and tell them how we have so much to offer in this state. Maybe you can appoint more of your lawyer pals to high paid positions in commissions or state agencies while you are away. That would be great. Thank you for all you do. Jim

I suggest you... Do NOT fund any capitol projects ( new ) that are submitted by YOUR agencies until 2013, They are all on hold. Plus you overhaul your permit process= take away from a single agency, thus cutting staff. Permits are processed though the city or county not state employees== YOU grant on flat rate for that service. No more benifits paid for people you dont need. County and City Government is far superior to state employees that why they are paid more money.
