Stop enforcing victimless crime laws.

Stop prosecuting all victimless crimes. Prostitution, pot, etc. All these laws are based on the so-called moral majority (who are neither.) Stop spending our tax money to lock people up for having sex or getting the same buzz they get from a state store selling spirits!

Bike Lanes

I would suggest that we require a license to utilize our many bike lanes. The bicylist would be required to wear the proper helmet and reflective gear just like a motorcyclist. A yearly $25 license and fines for non compliance.

Stricter Litter Fines on WA. State Roads

I suggest you have the police and courts enforce a strict no litter policy on our roads and freeways charge a higher fine and garnish work wages or revoke license if unpaid.

GA and UT roads do not look near as bad as ours do. They enforce this is their states. Use this money to balance the budget.

This would eliminate 1 year of the current prison time (on average $34,000 per person) and gives DOC more control when a person has been released from prison. The recidivism rate is highest within the first 3 years of release, if we monitor these people more closely we can reduce the chances of them committing a new ...more »

Require insurance to register a motor vehicle

Require proof of insurance to register a motor vehicle. Impound cars of drivers who are uniinsured. Enforce law to require insurance to register or operate a motor vehicle. There are 400,000 uninsured drivers in the state. Because car owners would benefit by lower insurance rates due to drop in number of uninsured drivers -- increase the fee to register a vehicle once this was put into place -- Sell impounded cars ...more »

Pay up or quit driving

Collect on back traffic tickets of ALL kinds. Either pay up or your drivers license and vehicle license can not be renewed. Just think of the millions in revenue this would generate in just one year. If you can not drive, most would pay their tickets. Also set up as program to make payments, miss a payment, license is immediately revoked.

Mentally Ill Placements

Provide state hospitals for the mentally ill that are jamming the prison system. Do not release them unless they can live independently under the supervision of a state agency.
