Just float in a new span for the 520 bridge. Don't change anything else.

We all know that any added capacity will be clogged within a week (okay, a year or so). This is true always and everywhere. Save a few billion and keep it the way it is.

Throwing taxpayer money down a (post) hole

I can't tell you how many times I've seen state roads and intersections with multiple signs - all on their own post. Seems like some of these could be consolidated on one pole. Does the road crew going out to put up a new sign even LOOK at the other posts in the same area? Guess it's another example that since they get paid by the hour, they'd rather put up a new one and waste more of our money.

Wasteful Road Signs

Stop making highway signs that thank WDOT and the contractors that are doing the construction work. Their thanks are the paychecks they receive.
