Stopping unnecessary road construction projects

Cutting back on unnecessary road construction could save the state millions or billions over the long run. There are many projects ongoing that would need to be completed mostly because you can't just leave things uncompleted, but once those are done can you guys PLEASE cut back on green lighting road construction projects. Repeal Washington State's Prevailing Wage Law and Stop Catering to Labor Unions

Do not require a "prevailing wage" for bidders of government projects. Stop catering to labor unions. This artificially inflates the price of projects up to 3 times. There are many people who can live comfortably and without state assistance for much less than the prevailing wage. These people are very qualified and skilled, simply out of work. Build more libraries

A few years ago, we passed a constitutional amendment to require only a simple majority to pass school levies. Libraries are the education institution that serves everyone in the community, yet library construction levies still take a 60 percent super majority.
