Run state business like the private sectors such as; Employees- give merit raises to those that are performing above standards, and the rest who choose to treat their employment as a paycheck only, cut them loose. DSHS needs to stop paying for repairs on peoples cars that are collecting welfare. Why are we tax payers footing the bills of hundreds of dollars to fix someone eles cars so they can "look for work" ???? Give'em a bus pass.
Many school districts have discontinued transporting students that live within one mile of their schools. Why does the state continue to provide funding for this non-existent transportation?

Create a secure portal similar to www.onehealthport.com. This would create a resource for all state contracted providers to access one secure server for needed information. It would also reduce the amount of administrative time and resources to validate each provider (Tax ID number). The Healthy Worksite Initiative has wasted thousands of dollars and don't see much benefit. Agencies do not need a wellness coordinator to tell them to wash their hands after using the restroom. Enough is enough! State employees have sacrificed more than their share. Just because they are State employees does not mean they should be beaten into the ground and keep taking one for the team. Its time to stand up and say enough is enough. They have bills and families just like everyone else. Time for State employees to stand up for themselves.
