Reform Child Support Enforcement

I suggest a reform for the Department of Child Support. For every check I get from them, I get a (seperately mailed) statement telling me that they sent me a check and how much it was for. Additionally, it would be nice if the office of Support Enforcement enforced the entire order--they do not enforce requirements that are in support orders to pay for medical costs, or medical insurance or day care. Or at least they ...more »

Your system does not work.

Teach them how to work. Teach them how to appreciate the help they get. Teach them to be humble and have a hungry heart to work and serve others. HUMBLE is the key. Any humble person that needs a break will get one, arrogant mean spirited spoiled welfare people need tough love. Your welfare is ruining people. IT is better to be hungry than spoiled.

EBT/Food Stamps-For Healthy Purchases Only

I suggest you research what is being bought with EBT (food stamps) cards. I also suggest you change the purchase guidelines to be more in-line with WIC purchase guidelines so that participants in the system may only purchase healthy-food options. For those participants that purchase a lot of soda, candy, and junk food, they should be given less on their EBT account. If we are going to tax these items because they are ...more »

Even more savings in healthcare

I suggest we consider what saving money in health care could mean... Implications 1. The artificial separation of mental illness and physical illness is inaccurate. 2. Name an illness associated with low levels of vitamin D and poorer functioning with elevated levels of free copper—Alzheimer’s. 3. Name an illness associated with low levels of vitamin D, low serum ferritin, and early symptoms of loss ...more »

Make the sales tax more fair and stop punishing working families

Begin an income tax on high wage earners, and refund sales taxes paid by the working poor or exempt low wage earners from sales taxes. Exempt the first $15,000 of income from any taxes if your total income for the year is less than $30,000. This would mean you would only pay taxes on upto half your earnings, to help low wage earners survive. Or, make sales taxes progressive. The higher the price, the higher the tax. ...more »

as a means to raise funds, improve health, and [hopefully] reduce the amount of medications a person is taking over time: I suggest you look into the use of gourmet healthy coffee [fundraising component is 100% or more profit], improve health and wellbeing at a cost of about $1.00 per cup = win win for you and consumer. has positively affected obesity, hypertension, cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia, and ADD [the ganoderma ...more »

Drug Test for State Payments.

We all know that Welfare is necessary to keep those afloat that cannot do so on their own. It also seems to be a known fact that many that receive Welfare tend to spend some of the money they receive on illegal drug use. By requiring a drug test to receive a Welfare check, not only do you avoid paying "free" money to "criminals" but, in turn, it is likely that the amount of drug use will decrease by the effect of the ...more »
