Think about how much money could we save if WA required combined public libraries with libraries in public or private schools, colleges, and universities, especially in rural / neighborhood areas. It would both increase public access to libraries, provide much better selections of books for students, and help WA decrease costs, saving millions in staff, maintenance, utilities, real estate and redundant book purchases. Existing library buildings could be sold and generate some additional state revenue also.
