  1. Tax fast food at 15% and use the proceeds for Public Health.

  2. Quite simply put a 2 to 4% tax on all food. Politicians need to suck it up and quit worrying about reelection. Also the excuse about the poor does not hold water. They usually eat at a fast food restaraunt.

  3. "not enough taxes" is not the answer, we are 13th (some websites say 14th) highest taxed per capita. See: http://www.statemaster.com/graph/eco_tot_tax_bur-total-tax-burden-per-capita

Please note that California has higher taxes than WA, and yet are one of the most bankrupt states in the USA.

  8. All Food should be taxed: that way everyone is paying there fair share. The coffers need to be refilled so the state does not have to keep cutting wages, and programs.

  10. Impose a tax on fast food. Since there have been precedents established on goods deemed to be unhealthy (i.e. alcohol and tobacco), why would fast food be exempt? There has been a litany of data available to connect unhealthy afflictions such as obesity to fast food. Additionally, since so much fast food is sold in WA, there stands to be a significant amount of revenue to be collected.
